Screaming deal on a mini external firewire hard drive...

I just got an email from one of the places I buy stuff from, and saw this:

SmartDisk FireLite 100GB 2.5" Firewire External Hard Drive for $55.

This is a screaming deal for what I consider to be a quality product. We used these Smartdisk firewire drives a great deal when I was consulting at Apple. You can put boot up from a firewire drive, and if you have a copy of Diskwarrior on the drive, then you can boot up from the external firewire drive and make repairs to your laptop or desktop drive. I am not sure about it being refurbished, but if it works -- dang, this is a good deal.

That said, I bought a refurbished 3.5" Seagate drive from geeks.com a few months ago. It was DOA, but they instantly refunded all my money and sent me a label so it did not even cost me to ship it back. They are a good company. I buy a lot of my computer stuff from geeks.com and newegg.

Also, I am selling about twenty 3.5" hard drives that have been used very lightly. These are larger, standard IDE/ATA hard drives that go inside PCs or in external cases. You can see details at:
